Arts Inaugural Canada and Fashion Awards best for women, men and accessories stitched honor

Young and established talent will be celebrated at the first Canadian Art and Fashion Awards early next year.  Touted as the first event of its kind in Canada, the first gala CFAA is 10 award categories to honor the local talent are in the fashion industry. The Canadian event seems to follow a similar tradition founded by the British Fashion Council and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Both councils stage annual ceremonies in their respective countries recognize the talents of the most influential fashion. Categories for Cafas Year honors include designers for women, men and accessories and an Award of Excellence to celebrate the career of an established architect. The Canadian Designer Award honor someone has achieved success abroad and drew attention to the Canadian talent on the world stage. The award recognizes a Canadian-style destination that embodies the spirit of the country and serves as an unofficial ambassador for the fashion and culture of thinking. The creator of the images will be a photographer or a Canadian filmmaker who has had a significant impact on the Canadian industry is presented. Prizes will be awarded to the model and stylist of the year. Another award for emerging talent - Cafe solitary price, even nominated - recognize an innovative designer "turns out to be a true Canadian fashion creative force." Candidates are expected to be announced at a ceremony in October, and the winners will be selected by a confidential vote by the jury CFAA January next year. Approved members of the group are: fashion and media maven Jeanne Beker, Elle Canada editor Noreen Flanagan, Fashion Magazine editor Bernadette Morra, Flare magazine fashion director Tiyana Grulovic and Lisa Tant, Holt Renfrew VP, Fashion Editor. The inaugural Canadian Art and Fashion Awards Gala will take place presumably 1 February 2014 at the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto.
