We loved the rope braid so much we called on Mark for a step-by-step...Most rope braids are worn to one side so make sure you have all your hair moving in the same direction, use your hands to smooth the hair to one side and fasten with a hair elastic where you want the plait to sit. Hide the hair band by taking a small section of hair and wrapping it around the pony. Fasten with a curby grip and a small amount of hairspray.

On you have plaited your hair hold the end in place and brush over in the opposite direction with a bristle brush. You want it to look undone and rope-like. When you get to the end of the plait, you don't want to put a band around it. Instead create a stopping point by backcombing the end with a tail comb. This will carry on the feeling of undone, rope-like  prada leather tote bagshair.
